The Hey Hey is a neighborhood bar which opened in 1900. It was even a Speakeasy during prohibition, which is how it got its name! Now you can find great people, a variety of craft beers, as well as a creative kitchen serving local fare! Be sure to check out the sauerkraut balls, Chef Angie’s famous yak burger, and well as the pfannkuchen! Established in 1981. The building was built in 1900. It became a Speakeasy when Prohibition struck and the men who brought the bootleg would always say, “Hey! Hey! The beer is here! ” So they became known as the Hey Hey Boys and the name stuck! Timm and Sue Gall bought the bar in 1981. They have also served food at various festivals including the Cinncinnati Oktoberfest, Dublin Irish Festival and more! Chef Angie Theado started running the kitchen in 2013!
