Happy Bean specializes in carefully crafted beverages. We are known for our amazing coffee and espresso drinks, loose leaf tea, organic lemonade.

We offer baked goods including gluten-free options.

Our partnership with Round Hill Dairy allows us to offer single scoop cups of delicious, locally made ice cream. Established in 2016. We’ve been serving the community in Historic Downtown Mount Vernon since February 2016. Even through these tough years we grown into a thriving coffee shop with consistent quality. It is an honor to offer a space for our guests to enjoy day after day.

Our second location opened on Sept. 1, 2021 on the campus of Mount Vernon Nazarene University and has helped to create a vibrant community space in their library.
