You won’t find any “chain” restaurant here. Every dish is homemade and freshly prepared from our pecan chicken & waffles and shrimp & grits down to our cole slaw and specialty sauces. It’s food with the freshest ingredients and food you won’t find anywhere else. The “BAR” is one of the oldest and most beautiful bars in the county, dating back to the late 1800s. We have 10 craft beers on tap and wide selection of bottled ones. Established in 2015. Our location has been a restaurant for over 80 years. The original Cherry Street Pub was started in 1934 by Thomas Henry. In 1936, Johnny Johnson turned the location into Johnson’s Restaurant. Alan & Rosie Snead purchased the location and ran Snead’s Restaurant from 1980 to 2001. Jim & Betsy Bibler were the next owners and ran their Bib’s Eastside Restaurant from 2001 to 2011. The beautiful, historical bar was brought in around 1938 and was the reason why the new owners, Billy & Lorena Smith, bought this location. Come in and check it out!
