We’re from Columbus. Of course we know we have an awesome food scene. But whenever a local business makes national headlines, it’s hard not to burst with pride.
That’s why we felt so unbelievably proud last week when USA Today named FYR one of the country’s best restaurants. 46 other establishments also made the list, but none as interesting or as unique as FYR.
As you can probably guess, FYR is pronounced as “fire.” Why? Because every single ingredient and every single meal is prepared and touched by six different types of fire. This allows the Ohio-sourced ingredients to bond together and create bold, unique flavors that will leave you feeling warm and satisfied.
FYR is truly an incredible and homey experience, due in large part to Executive Chef Sebastian La Rocca’s desire to blend his Argentinian and Italian roots together with the flavors of fresh, Ohio-sourced produce.
If you’d like to learn more about FYR and the rest of its peers on USA Today’s Best Restaurants of the Year list, you can find the full article here.
